If you want to do a circular route or have more time to explore you can sail to Barra and follow the route 780 until you reach Tarbet where you can then jump on a ferry to Uig on the Isle of Skye. From here you pedal across the Jurassic landscapeof Skye to Malaig where you then cross onto Ardnamurchan. Here you really will feel like you are in the remotest peninsula in Scotland and by riding to the furthest point ,at Kilchoan, you can catch another ferry onto Isle of Mull, where its an easy half day ride to the homeward and last ferry of your trip back to Oban
